What's The Difference?

When shopping for your next firearm, training course or even favorite place to shoot you may ask yourself, "Aren't they all the same?"

The short answer is, no. They are not all the same.

Coal Creek Armory and Coal Creek Armory Outpost offer the only truly professional sales, training and repair staff in the region.

Sure, anyone can be a "certified instructor" or "certified gunsmith" by simply attending a basic level, one day course or by watching a DVD and sending in "dues" for membership. It seems one can take a correspondence course and get "certified" to almost anything these days. They can also claim development of courses they attended and now have re-labeled as their own.

You won't find this at Coal Creek Armory or Coal Creek Armory Outpost.

We don't take short cuts.

Each member of our training staff is certified at the NRA Instructor level, as such they have not only trained countless members of the public, and numerous members of law enforcement and their agencies, they have also developed practical and tactical courses used by other instructors and agencies coast to coast. Also, all members of our training staff has decades of practical experience in not only the instructional field but also law enforcement and military service.

Employees of our gunsmith and repair facility did not learn their trade from at home video courses. They attended accredited colleges where they graduated with degrees in,  Gunsmithing, Mechanical Engineering and Metalurgy. Not only have they been trusted by countless manufacturers and customers to manufacture, repair and restore firearms, they have also been published in several gunsmith and repair publications.
