Going The Extra Mile

Others claim to have the "safest range" in the area.

That's fine, but we disagree.

Coal Creek Armory and Coal Creek Armory Outpost ranges have always followed and surpassed the standards set in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1025.

With regularly scheduled and routine air monitoring, which includes the work spaces, shooting range, and, all public areas, as well as worn monitors attached to employees to monitor their exposure, if any.

We further assure the safety of our employees, as well as guests, by conducting regularly scheduled and routine blood lead level tests of employees.

Coal Creek Armory and Coal Creek Armory Outpost understand the dangers associated with the shooting sports. We promise to go the extra mile to ensure the safety of those who place their trust with us. Your safety is our first concern. As it should be.

While others are busy making claims they can't support regarding the "safety" of their range, Coal Creek Armory has gone the extra mile from day 1 to guarantee a safe environment.

Others claim their "rubber backstop" "captures" spent lead cartridges, but they fail to understand lead is present more places than just the backstop. Since lead is present in more than the spent bullet, the floor, the walls and the shooting booths might also show trace amounts. Understanding this, Coal Creek Armory and Coal Creek Armory Outpost conducts cleaning of the surfaces and areas that lead comes in contact with.

Others don't understand this when making their claims. How can others be the "safest" by ignoring the most important concepts of safety? They can't.
