Thousands of customers have visited us each year since 2002 and our humble beginnings in Oak Ridge. In 2004 we the purchased our current building, the area's only 16,000 sq. ft. facility with an indoor range and repair annex, located in Knoxville, to better serve the public with nothing but the best firearms, firearm repairs, restoration and manufacturing as well as world class firearm instruction. Our success was not overnight, it was hard work, work that paid off with loyal customers who have also come to know us as their friends.

In September of 2011 we opened our second location in Kingston, TN. Our newest location is not as large as the main branch, but it offers everything you have come to expect from the Coal Creek Armory family. Honest prices, unbeatable and constantly changing inventory.  Professional gunsmithing from an actual gunsmith and, yes, one of the best firing ranges around, complete with unmatched world class training.

These classes, unless noted will be at Coal Creek Armory Outpost, 798 Gallaher Rd. in Kingston. 


The Knoxville courses will be conducted at our Knoxville facility, located at 10737 Dutchtown Road in Knoxville. 

Outdoor courses will be conducted at the CCA Tactical Training facility in North Knoxville.

to the roster of professional instructors.

Mark Coffee is a certified Tennessee law enforcement officer with 27 years of experience in patrol, investigations and narcotics. He teaches basic marksmanship, home and business awareness, survival tactics, and advanced handgun techniques, in addition to designing and implementing Spanish for Law Enforcement program. He is a FBI certified Police Instructor, NRA Certified Instructor, Tennessee POST Terrorism/Counter Terrorism Instructor, Tennessee POST Law Enforcement Training Academy Firearms Instructor, Simunitions/Air-soft Instructor, STOPS Instructor, Tactical Narcotics Officer Instructor. Mark is a specialist with a revolver and close quarters tactics.
